The collaboration of galaxias! (Kou Shibasaki + DECO*27 + TeddyLoid) with VOCALOID is now on stage! Totally new VOCALOID3 voice library "galaco" has been released!

Yamaha Corporation (Headquarter: 10-1 Nakazawa-Cho Naka-Ku Hamamatsu-City, Shizuoka President: Mitsuru Umemura) released an announcement
on April 28, 2012 on VOCALOID special stage in NicoNico-Super Summit held at Makuhari Messe(*1), that new VOCALOID 3 voice library "Galaco"(*2),
which was developed in cooperation with Stardust Music, Inc. (Headquarter: Shibuya-Ku, Tokyo President: Yoshirou Hosono) and
Internet Co., Ltd. (Headquarter: Yodogawa-Ku, Osaka President: Noboru Murakami), would be distributed for
"Special Participation Prize" of VOCALOID 3 introductory music contest, which is currently ongoing.

"Galaco", VOCALOID 3 voice library, was planned and developed with our voice composition tool "VOCALOID 3", in collaboration with music unit
"galaxias! (Kou Shibasaki+DECO*27+TeddyLoid)". Upon developing this library, whole plan was made by Yamaha and Stardust Music, Inc.,
and produced by Internet Co., Ltd.

We adopted "Galaco" as the face of this library. She is given birth from an idea of Kou Shibasaki, the lead vocalist of "galaxias!", and
acted as the face of their first album and promotion image clips. And more, we have renewed her design with the famous illustrator KEI and Tamago,
and evolved her image so that she completely matches with the VOCALOID 3 world.
This library is carefully developed and produced by Internet Co., Ltd., who has also released the famous library "Gackppoid"(*3) and more, with
their proficient skill and effort to bring out the best in her.

As of now, we are not planning to sell this product. This will only be distributed for "Special Participation Prize" of VOCALOID 3
introductory music contest, which is administered in cooperation with Dwango Co., Ltd. (Headquarter: Chuo-Ku, Tokyo President: Hiroshi Kobayashi)
and Internet Co., Ltd., and the prize will be presented to all who qualified the condition described later.
Prior to this event, we will release the demo song composed by DECO*27 and TeddyLoid, who is the famous VOCALOID music creator (a.k.a. Vocalo-P)
as well as the member of "galaxias!" itself.

Title: VOCALOID 3 introductory music contest
Period: Tuesday November 15, 2011 thry Saturday June 30, 2012 (in JST)
Outline: Every entree uploads his/her musical piece using specified VOCALOID 3 Library onto "NicoNico", with specified tag locked, within its period.
Special Participation Prize: Every entree will receive this library (Galaco) when his/her musical piece earns 1000 or more views in NicoNico.

Summary of galaxias!

galaxias! is the music unit of Kou Shibasaki, DECO*27, and TeddyLoid. The concept of this unit is to create totally new music with unique idea.
"galaxias!", their first album, was released on November 2011.

The image of galaco seen on their first album. We renewed her design this time to match her characteristics to our VOCALOID 3 world.

Concept of this event is to reproduce (approximately) all image(s) of NicoNico onto this place.
*2 VOCALOID 3 voice library is the voice data and its media. It is for use with VOCALOID 3 Editor. Each library has their exclusive face character
to represent the concept of their voice.
