VOCALOID can be synchronized with any sequencer or music application that is compatible with the ReWire(TM) protocol.

Here's the basic procedure for setting up ReWire(TM) synchronization:

We recommend you to apply VOCALOID updater v1.1 because "Play With Synthesis" mode is also available in ReWire(TM).

1. Always launch the host application first.

2. Launch the VOCALOID Editor once the host application is up and running.

3. From the VOCALOID Setting menu select Audio > Device, and turn the ReWire(TM) radio button in the Device window on the click [OK].

It is also possible to assign individual tracks and the output of the master fader to your ReWire(TM) application via the VOCALOID Mixer window. If you select "ReWire(Master)", all tracks are mixed down by VOCALOID mixer and sent to ReWire(TM) host. If you select "ReWire(All Tracks)", each track is individually sent to ReWire(TM) host.

When this has been done you should be able to select VOCALOID via the host's device or ReWire(TM) menu (the actual nomenclature used will depend on the host application - refer to the host application owner's manual for information on ReWire(TM) if necessary). You should be able to achieve accurate synchronization when operating the transport controls in either VOCALOID or the host application.
