Can I use Rewire function?
No, VOCALOID3 Editor and Tiny VOCALOID3 Editor does NOT support Rewire function.
Can I use VOCALOID3 as the software synthesizer (sound source) on other DAW applications?
No. Either export a WAV file from VOCALOID3™ Editor or Tiny VOCALOID3™ Editor and then copy it to your DAW software, or create musical accompaniment data in your DAW as a WAV file and then import it using WAV (STEREO) Track Import in VOCALOID3™ Editor or Tiny VOCALOID3™ Editor. Also, if you use VOCALOID4 Editor for Cubase with Cubase7 series or later, you can use VOCALOID like a software synthesizer in Cubase. For more information about VOCALOID4 Editor for Cubase, see the following website: VOCALOID4 Editor for Cubase
I can't open the digital file (PDF) of the manual.
If PDF file viewer is not installed on your machine or it is out of date, it gives an error informing the tool is unable to open the file while attempting to open the manual from [Help] → [User Manual] menu. VOCALOID3 Editor and Tiny VOCALOID3 Editor does NOT include PDF file viewer, so please get the latest Adobe Reader from Adobe official website. Adobe Reader can be downloaded free from their website.
The package does't include printed user manual.
VOCALOID3 Editor and Tiny VOCALOID3 Editor only provides user manual in digital file (in PDF format), and it doesn't contain paper printed booklet. To browse the user manual, please open the file from [Help] → [User Manual] menu after launching VOCALOID3 Editor or Tiny VOCALOID3 Editor.
I cannot import MIDI files (SMFs).
Do your files have the ".midi" extension? VOCALOID3 Editor cannot open files with the ".midi" extension. Change the extension of your standard MIDI files (SMFs) to ".mid". In addition, if your files contain system exclusive (SysEx) data, VOCALOID3 Editor may not be able to recognize and load those files correctly.
A displayed window got lost somewhere on the display.
Make the mixer window floating (this can be set as follows: "Settings" menu -> "Preferences" -> "View Settings" tab -> "Mixer" section). Then, in the "Window" menu, select "Tile Horizontally" to align "Track Editor", "Musical Editor", and "VOCALOID MIXER" on the display.
I feel the response of my computer is getting slower as I keep working on the composition.
It may be improved if "Maximum Number of Undo" is edited. Please check [Settings[ → [Preferences] → [Others] → [Undo Limitation], and if this is set to "Unlimited", please change it to appropriate number like "50 times".
When playback, the sound is broken and disturbing noises come along with it.
It depends on the basic setting of your machine, but it may be improved by editing the setting of Audio Buffer. Please check and edit "Buffer Size" in [Settings] → [Preferences] → [Audio] tab and edit it to larger value.
The end point of the pencil/line tool is always set to the end of the song when editting the control parameters.
If you wish to keep the parameter value at the endpoint, please check [Settings] → [Preferences] → [VOCALOID sequence]tab → [Control Parameters] and enable [Make Control Parameters Compatible with V2].
I want to edit control parameters manually, instead of using a pencil tool.
Unfortunately, there is no number input supported to modify control parameters. Please use pencil/line tool.
