Q. I have already made sure that my computer has Internet access. However, I cannot activate the software because I get a message indicating that the connection to the network has failed.

1) You may have to specify proxy server settings, depending on your Internet service provider.
In this case, setting up the proxy settings for Internet Explorer may enable you to activate the software.

2) Verify that your Windows operating system has the correct date and time.

3) Open "Control Panel", select "Network and Internet", "Internet Options", and then select the "Advanced" tab. In the "Settings" field, make sure that the "Use TLS 1.2" check box is selected.
If the check box is not selected, select it, click "OK", and then restart the computer.
