Q. Can I import (load) SMF (*.mid) files created in other DAW software, such as Cubase?

Yes.

* You can import notes (event information), together with beat and tempo information, but cannot read control information.

- To read SMF (*.mid) files:
(1) Select "File"and then click "Open".
(2) In the window that appears, use the pull-down menu at the bottom-right corner to select "VOCALOID MIDI, SMF (*.mid)".
(3) Select the file you want to import.
(4) Select the track you want to import.

- To import only a specific track from an SMF (*.mid) file onto a VSQX that you are editing:
(1) Select "File", "Import", and then "Track".
(2) In the window that appears, use the pull-down menu at the bottom-right corner to select "VOCALOID MIDI, SMF (*.mid)".
(3) Select the file you want to import.
(4) Select the track you want to import.
* If the desired files are not displayed, change the file type to "All Files (*.*)" at the bottom-right corner of the dialog box.
